Mr. Mitchell has more than twenty-eight years of experience in the forest products industry. He has worked in a variety of management, supervisory, marketing and consulting positions in operations throughout the Southern and Western United States, Canada, South Africa and Chile.

At The Beck Group, he has been responsible for a variety of consulting assignments in both primary and secondary wood products manufacturing, including benchmarking studies, feasibility studies, marketing research, economic development studies, plant operational assessments, timber resource, lumber drying and wood fiber and biomass surveys, and profit improvement projects. His experience includes implementation of statistical quality control programs, operator training programs, team development activities, and computer-assisted maintenance management programs.

Mr. Mitchell's background includes significant experience in the private sector of the forest products industry; his past employers include International Paper Company, Weyerhaeuser Company and Roseburg Lumber Company.
