Kathleen Stewart, Consultant
Kathleen Stewart joined The Beck Group in 2011. Since joining the firm, she has helped clients with financial forecasting by creating custom financial models, in addition to being heavily involved with BECK’s valuation and appraisal services. Kathleen has also been extensively involved with producing BECK’s benchmarking studies and has worked with clients in the collection, entry, and review of data for BECK’s Competitive Assessments covering southern yellow pine lumber producers (performed annually), western stud producers, and dimensional lumber and southern plywood producers. She has also calculated economic damages in legal disputes, completed chip pricing and benefits surveys for manufacturers in the northwestern U.S. and has conducted market research and transportation cost research for wood shavings and wood pellets in the western U.S.
Before joining The Beck Group, Kathleen held positions in both finance and accounting, most recently as Strategic Financial Analyst with a solar cell manufacturing company. Her experience includes financial forecasting and modeling, cash flow analysis, cost accounting and variance analysis, financial statement preparation and review, inventory analysis, external audit preparation and coordination, and tax filings. She has also completed the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA) and the Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA) course on Business Valuation and is pursuing certification as an Accredited Valuation Analyst.
