Kathleen Stewart, Consultant

Kathleen Stewart recently joined The Beck Group. Since joining the firm, she has completed market research for both wood shavings and wood pellets used as animal bedding. She has also researched truck transportation costs for shipping wood products in the western U.S.  In addition, she has assisted with the collection, entry, and review of data for BECK’s annual southern yellow pine lumber producers and western stud producers competitive assessments.

Before joining The Beck Group, Kathleen was a Financial Analyst with a solar cell manufacturing company.  In this position, she provided financial leadership to the company’s R&D group in addition to managing the company’s financial reporting, external audit, and tax filings.  Prior to that position, she was an Accounting Supervisor with International Paper, where she managed the accounting activities for log yard inventories, log purchases and sales, and contractor logging and trucking.

Kathleen’s experience also includes financial modeling, standard cost accounting and variance analysis, market research, and financial statement preparation and review.
