Prospectus
Considering selling your operation? The Beck Group can help you develope a business prospectus that compels others to buy into your vision. We know the industry and are here to help you craft your unique company's complete story and engage potential purchasers. We will outline the details of the operation, promote the market potential, and calculate financial projections. We can serve in the role of coordinating buyer tours and assist in bid processes.
BECK’s approach is to develope a prospectus for the mill which contains pertinent information for prospective buyers. This will include a general description of the site, an overview of operations, an asset list, some key performance metrics, and log supply information. The prospectus will include pictures of key attributes of the facility.
The prospectus will then be distributed to entities which might be interested in the facility. BECK will target other mill owners, as well as those in the area which have an interest in the facility operating long term. As prospective purchasers express interest and desire more information, they will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement. Then more detailed information will be released to them.

CASE STUDIES
Mill Sales Prospectus—The Beck Group assisted a large user of industrial lumber products in strategic planning focused on the growth of their business. Beck’s tasks included assessing historical trends and forecasts in timber availability for key species used by the company, identifying possible alternative/substitute species that could be used, assessing the survivability of key lumber producers, identifying trends and factors in the dynamics of lumber imports and exports from the U.S., and evaluating the survivability of remanufacturing operations that convert industrial lumber into millwork parts.
Beck helped this client effectively and efficiently assess opportunities for gaining greater control of their raw material supply chain. Key to the analysis was Beck’s knowledge and experience of timber supply, as well as our knowledge and experience regarding the long-term viability of key sectors of the forest products industry infrastructure.
