BERGEN ESKILDSEN
Consultant II
Bergen Eskildsen joined The Beck Group in 2025 after seven years of experience working for the State of Utah. At the Utah Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands, Bergen focused on engaging entrepreneurs and businesses with Federal, State, and local agencies to stimulate economic capacity and new market opportunities in Utah for forestry work, wood utilization, and forest products, in coordination with Utah's Shared Stewardship Agreement between the State and the U.S. Forest Service. Prior to this, Bergen worked at the Utah Governor’s Office of Energy Development as a Rural Development Specialist and an Energy Resource Specialist. In these positions, he helped expand sustainable resource development opportunities across all energy sectors in Utah by aligning business interests, technological innovations, infrastructure, financing, and partnerships with targeted incentives.
From a small agricultural community in eastern Washington, Bergen moved to Salt Lake City to complete a Bachelor of Science in Urban Ecology at the University of Utah with a minor in Geography. He worked as a Planning and Management Consultant Intern at the State of Utah's Community Development Office within the Department of Workforce Services. He also completed an internship at Wasatch Front Regional Council (the designated Metropolitan Planning Organization of the Wasatch Front), where he conducted spatial analysis and database management. Bergen recently earned a Professional Master of Science & Technology degree in the Earth Resource Management track at the University of Utah.
